Diy Glass Cabochon for Jewelry Settings Tutorial
What mm beads did you use please?
How i can buy a machine like this
You never have gold residue? That’s my problem
Maybe try printing on the label setting so the toner gets hotter
I wasn’t sure what type of bracelet this would be because I was a bit distracted but I know how to do these. I think it’t the first thing jewelry makers learn to make. Also I appreciate it’s here for others but over 7 mins. of just talking, I need to find the video I’m looking for elsewhere.
How long is the Silver Plated Eye Pin
I'm watching this because I put the film and my card in directly and it took me 3 hours to pick burned and twisted mess out from the rollers. Let's just say, not the best first experience trying to heat transfer foil. If I had watched this first then it would have saved me 3 hours and a whole bunch of fowl-language. My neighbors must think I purchased stock in truth social. lol
😂😂😂
I know it's been a long time since the video was taken, but I have a question, is it possible to print with a laser printer on a sticker sheet and then create the lamination with a foil sheet? I would love to know, thanks for the tutorial
Hi! Yes as long as the toner print is from a laser.
OMG i dont know if this possible 😍🥰
What is the golden material.
Gorgeous bracelets 🌙🌌 Thank you for the tips on jump rings and charms.
Why it sticks to the black design?
Love love love this !!!! I literally watched your video and drove to Joann’s 😊 I have a some witchy charms I was planning to use or my book of shadows … but ima king a bracelet now . Thank you ❤
Hahah awesome! Glad you enjoyed! <3
Wow that’s so cool
Will this work on a inkjet printer?
No only laser
Can you PLEASE tell me how to purchase this glamour seal?
The link is in the video description :)
@@projectpinupgirl thank you soooo much
I made 3 today. So much fun.
Omg yay!!!
That is the coolest brace that I have seen. Thank you for sharing. I learned a lot
I am so happy to hear that! 💖
It's great..thanks for sharing
t h a n k s
My cabochons come out cloudy. Is it the glue?
How big does it need to be for a 171 cm skeleton? Edit:it’s a joke.
What if use epson inkjet printer😊?
does this work with a inkjet printer ?
No only laser
@@projectpinupgirl thank you for the info 👍
How much temperature need for transfer
It goes by the mil setting of your paper
I really enjoyed this video as I am now beginning to add charms to my bracelets. I wish you had shown the size and maker of the elastic thread as a number of us are wondering about that. Thank you for a delightful tutorial.
The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system ruclips.net/user/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
Where did you get the clear shinny beads?
That is Gorgeous.
how big are the beads?
What is the difference between doing this with a laser printer and an ink jet? Would an ink printer work?
Ink jet will not work with this method. Only laser because the toner adheres to the foil with heat.
Hi! I’ve been trying this method and I keep getting a crackle/distressed effect. It’s like the foil sticks everywhere and not just the laser design. How do I solve this?
Try printing your paper with the label setting preference as it's the hottest the laser gets and adheres more of the toner to the page
Your illustration is good I appreciate your tutorial I like your beads. Beautiful
Hi, Do you know what size the beads are?
These I believe were 10mm
Mine is slightly tight even after stretching the cord😬
I have the hardest time timing the knot to close up the bracelet. It took me like an hr. Beads kept sliding it was bad lol.
Do you run the laminator on heat? Wouldn’t that just foil it all down?
Yes that's the only way the laminator works. It only sticks to toner :)
Lovee ittt❤
I wonder how it fairs with sticker paper? Have you tried that yet?
It would work with the laser type not ink jet
@@projectpinupgirl Have a laser and found a video where they use one and it works well. All heat and pressure.
@@bellacosy oh nice!!
Hi!!! I found this video mindblowing and wanted to ask: Is it possible to print on a sheet of baking paper, foil that and then transfer the already „cut“ artwork to another surface with heat? I‘d love to put a design on a handmade book but I don’t know if that’s possible!
Ooh that would be very fun to experiment with. I would actually print on laser transfer paper. Just remember that you will have to mirror the image if you are transferring that print or it will look backwards on the finished result. The reason I wouldn't do baking paper is because it may get jammed in your printer and that seems like a nightmare!
Does this turn the cabochon foggy eventually? I have tried to make mine but it eventually gets a film on it.
Does it only work for paper? How about on velvet fabric? I mean the laminating method..
I haven't tried.
Thank you...and it is very pretty ..and your nails. 🙂.....you really answered a lot of questions I had in my mind....so thanks again....take care and keep crafting.
Love your video! May I ask what kind of glue you’d recommend for putting on the knot?
E6000 or clear (nonexpanding) gorilla super glue.
If the butterfly was colored, let’s say blue and red, but had the black outlines. Would it still only foil the black?
This method requires toner, which is only black. A regular ink printer won’t work.
You could print the blue and red on inket then print the outline on laser and the one that was printed with the alser print would show up with foil
Would an iron work in lieu of a laminator?
Sorry I missed your comment! I haven't tried, but it would be fun to experiment!
Omg! Where do you get your celestial charms and caps at? i been searching amazon but cant find any
Would I just attached the charms into the main cord while I was threading it? Then I wouldn't need to do a jump ring.
You can but the charms will be facing sideways and look weird.
I did some of these last night, and the mod podge is still wet underneath the glass. Will it dry eventually, or do I need to start over again?
Is a heat press too hot for this?
I haven't tried :)
Omg I have to ask where did you get the charms? I’ve been looking everywhere for charms like those. Please give me details.
I buy alot wholesale here in AZ but you can probably find these on Etsy, aliexpress or even eBay Amazon
@@projectpinupgirl thx Heather
